P034/14 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on Wednesday 30th July 2014 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P035/14 MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

  • MIN P028/14 – 14/00789/ADV – Projecting Sign, The Goodlife Guesthouse.   Notification received from TDC Planning Services stating that a revised planning application will be submitted and a request has been made to the applicant for the sign to be switched off whilst the application is determined.
P036/14 MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES

  • P105/13 – 14/00164/FUL – Asda application – Members reviewed correspondence received from Harwich Society.
    RESOLVED:  Clerk to write to TDC stating that HTC strongly object to Condition 5 being discharged as it does not adequately address possible contamination of Bobbit’s Hole Nature Reserve. Contents of the letter to be delegated to the Clerk in consultation with Councillor Morrison.

The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 1st August, 8th August and 15th August.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P039/14 EAST OF ENGLAND CO-OP – 60 KINGSWAY DOVERCOURT
Members noted the information received on the current position of the vacant building and potential future plans.

  • Notification of full approval of application 14/00711/FUL – Change of use of vacant A1 shop to C3 dwelling house including change from flat roof to pitched roof and insertion of bay windows. – noted
  • Notification of full approval of application 14/00828/FUL – Proposed change of use into family entertainment centre – noted
