P035/11 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies received from Cllrs C Callender, R Callender, Day, Double, King, McLeod and O’Neill.
P036/11 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllrs I Henderson and J Henderson declared a personal and prejudicial interest in relation to applications 11/00784/FUL and 11/01009/FUL.
P037/11 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on 31st August 2011 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P038/11 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 26th August, 2nd September and 9th September.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P039/11 MATTERS RECEIVED IN POST
- Councillors discussed a previously deferred application (11/00785/LBC) having received further information from TDC – ref Minute P032/11. With 8 votes in favour and 1 abstention, it was RESOLVED: to object on the grounds that the plans, as currently presented, would have a detrimental impact upon listed interior features of a Grade II Listed building.
- Councillors discussed an application from the Department of Transport for proposed stopping up of highway.
RESOLVED: no objection.

The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich on 12th October 2011 at 6.30pm.
The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.50pm
