Notification of start of works
A120 between Birchanger Green Roundabout and Dunmow south Interchange – LED lighting upgrades
Lighting upgrades to take place from high pressure sodium lights (SON) to LED lighting from Birchanger Green Roundabout to Dunmow south Interchange on the A120.
LED lights are better for the environment and use far less energy to produce the same amount of light. They also last longer and require less maintenance, meaning fewer road closures to fix lighting in the future and more importantly, safer roads for everyone.
We plan to carry out this work over four weeks between Monday 23 September and Friday 18 October 2024. We will work overnight between 8pm and 6am, weeknights only, weather permitting.
