Cold blooded creatures to return after warm welcome at Princes Theatre
People can get up close to lizards, snakes and creepy crawlies when the Essex Reptile Encounter returns to the Princes Theatre in the Easter holidays.
The event gives youngsters – and their parents – the chance to find out more about and even hold a number of animals, from chameleons to tarantulas.
When the show came to the Princes Theatre last summer it was hugely popular, with the eight sessions selling out in a flash and 360 people coming along.
The event is coming back during the Easter holidays, and tickets are on sale now – so people are urged to book soon.
Alex Porter, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism at Tendring District Council, which runs the theatre, said it was an event not to be missed.
“The Essex Reptile Encounter was so popular last time and everyone who took part had lots of fun,” Cllr Porter said.
“As well as holding the animals – or facing your fears – the sessions are really informative and educational too.”
Hour-long sessions take place at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm on 7 and 8 April.
Tickets are £5 per child and £2.50 for adults, available from the Princes Theatre Box Office at www.princestheatre.co.uk or on 01255 686633.
