The Finance and General Purposes Committee reviews the Town Council’s budgets and expenditure every meeting which is four times a year plus additional meetings where necessary to ensure that the expenditure is adhering to the budgets set out at the beginning of the year. Aspects of the Town Council’s overall strategy, policy and personnel matters are also dealt with by the Finance and General Purposes Committee.
The Town Council’s annual grants are discussed at the meetings of the Finance and General Purposes Committee and make recommendations for the Precept for Full Council.
