King Charles III's coronation is set to take place on Saturday May 6, 2023 at Westminster Abbey with the Government marking the occasion with the addition of a Bank Holiday on Monday 8th May 2023.

Follow the events of the Coronation of King Charles III, live on the big screen, courtesy of Harwich Town Council at the Electric Palace Cinema in Harwich on Saturday 6th May from 10am.  Refreshments will be available to purchase but entry is free of charge. Booking is essential.

Take a tour around the Grade I listed Guildhall as it opens its door for this year's Heritage Open Days event. Honorary archivists, Ray Plummer and Anne Kemp-Luck will be on hand to show off the gems of this centuries old building and answer any questions you have.
